Child Support

At Brabant & Huynh, we are here to help you establish, enforce, and when necessary, modify your child support orders. Massachusetts law requires that both parents support their children. As such, child support amounts are determined by specific formulas set forth in state law.  When determining child support, courts must follow the statutory formulas to determine the appropriate amount. Judges are permitted to deviate from the formula on the bases of specific factors, also set forth in the statutes.
